cause and benifits of security in our digital world

In the schools today myspace is block from usage and facebook isn't. my philisophical point of veiw is that myspace has some things that facebook doesn't. I don't know exactly what those things are but my guess is that they make sure they know were you know your friends from. so basically they are more protective than myspace. myspace doesn't care where you know your friends from.That also has to deal with privacy though. facebook doesn't give you that much apperently if they want to know who your friends are and how you know them.
